Frequently Asked Questions about Criminal Defense in Burlington Township, NJ
Although you might think that it isn’t necessary to have an attorney representing you until you are actually arrested, nothing could be further from the truth. Even if you are just a suspect or a person of interest in a criminal investigation, if you have an experienced criminal defense attorney on your side, your attorney can begin an independent investigation. In some cases, it may be possible to uncover evidence in your favor that ultimately removes you from the scope of the police’s investigation.
If you learn that there is a warrant out for your arrest, you should contact our criminal defense attorneys as soon as possible. This will allow us to begin our own investigation into your case to begin collecting evidence to use in your defense. We can also contact the police to arrange your surrender, so that you can avoid the risk of embarrassment or harm from being arrested at your home, your place of work, or in public.
