Frequently Asked Questions about Personal Injury in Collingswood
If you were injured at work, your legal rights to recover compensation from your employer are normally limited to filing a workers’ compensation claim. However, if your work accident was caused by a third party’s actions, such as if you were injured by defective equipment or machinery or involved in a motor vehicle accident in the course and scope of your work, you may also be entitled to pursue a personal injury claim against those third parties at fault for your injuries.
Important steps to take after being involved in an accident include taking photos or video of the accident scene, getting the contact information of those involved in the accident and any eyewitnesses, seeking medical attention as soon as possible, keeping copies of all bills and invoices, or other records of your expenses and losses from the accident, and speaking with a Collingswood personal injury lawyer about your legal rights and options.
